I'm getting married in 40 days!

O my, how has times passed. In 4o days I will be a mrs. I cannot wait. The one I will marry is the love of my life, and my best friend. We recently took our engagement photos with the fabulous Kristen Marie, of Kristen Marie Photography. This summer has continued to fly by, it was beautiful here in the Pacific Northwest, but O so short, fall has settled in, it has that feel in the air. Lucky for me, I love this weather, and I am so excited to go to Ohio to get married during the lovey autumn season.

seattle & time with my love

I recently visited Seattle over Easter. It was the best trip I have ever taken. It was wonderful. Christian and I spent some much needed time together, visited many parks, drank lots of delicious coffee, tasted new foods, took lots of pictures, visited tulip fields, went antiquing, and laughed a lot. I loved meeting his friends and seeing the beauty of all of Seattle. I am even more excited and anxious to move there at the end of June. It was such a beautiful time. I am looking forward to to much more. My heart is so full and at peace.

This is my country, I have seen little of it. Very soon I will take a road trip starting in ohio and ending on the west coast in Seattle.

I just love them. Someday I wish to travel to Japan, and experience the bloom of these trees. I think it would be lovely.

love in february

I'll try not to be super sappy, but I am truly happy. I have an amazing boyfriend. He's my best friend, and I like him a lot. We have been friends for five years, and recently loved bloomed, if you will. He recently came to Ohio for a visit. He lives in Seattle, which is the city I am planning to move to in June. We have a lot of fun together. He is simply wonderful!

Also I must add, he completely surprised me at work yesterday for Valentine's Day. He sent me a beautiful tea pot, that he purchased in Seattle and brought with him when he came. He entrusted it to some friends of ours,  in fact a friend who works with me. She put it in my locker at work yesterday morning, and I was so surprised! He is so sweet, and I am so thankful for him.

fresh beginning

So why a fresh start, you may ask? I like to look at it like that. It's simply fun I say. I've blogged in the past while I lived overseas as a means for updates, (I didn't enjoy that very much) I've blogged as a means to just write and express my emotions during a difficult season in my life, it was just for myself. And now my journey continues. I hope it is inspiring. I'm no one grand, just a girl learning how to love and live authentically in this life.

I love beauty & extravagant things. I value simplicity. This blog will be honest, and will be nothing less than just me sharing my heart, adventures, and the beautiful things my eye and camera captures along the way.
